VOIT REAL ESTATE SERVICES APPOINTS ROBERT OSBRINK EXECUTIVE MANAGING DIRECTOR

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (April 19, 2011) –Voit Real Estate Services, a forward-facing commercial real estate organization, has hired Robert Osbrink as its Executive Managing Director, according to Robert D. Voit, Founder and Chairman of Voit Real Estate Services, as part of a strategic effort to bolster its leadership team.
Prior to joining Voit, Osbrink worked in increasing positions of management at Grubb & Ellis, including serving as co-CEO of the publicly held Grubb & Ellis Company, an international commercial real estate firm, for four years.
“As Voit continues to grow platform of services throughout the Western United States, Bob Osbrink will take an important role in overseeing the continuing success of our strong team of Managing Directors,” said Mr. Voit.
In his new role, Osbrink will use his 38 years of commercial real estate experience to provide strategic guidance to Voit’s 10-office brokerage operations.
Most recently, Osbrink has served as a consultant with several firms to create a new approach to providing service in the commercial real estate industry.

Osbrink’s career at Grubb & Ellis includes serving as President of Transaction Services overseeing 50 offices with 700 brokers; leading the firm as co-CEO of the company; and serving as President of the Western Region, Los Angeles Metro Regional Manager, and Sales Manager of the Newport Beach office.
Prior to working at Grubb & Ellis, Osbrink was Principal of Osbrink Marketing & Management Group, including consulting for Rancho Santa Margarita Company; as Vice President of Sales & Marketing for The Irvine Company, during which he largely worked on Irvine Spectrum, as well as developing joint-ventures with companies such as the Koll Company, O’Donnell Brigham & Partners, and The Sammis Company; and as Senior Vice President for Cushman & Wakefield where he oversaw offices in Orange County and the Inland Empire.
Osbrink is a graduate of the University of Southern California. He is currently on the Advisory Board of the United Way of Orange County and is President of the USC Basketball Alumni Association. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Club of Tustin, as well as the House Ear Institute and the Building Block Foundation, among others.
